Buckingham Fountain

We went to Chicago the end of last month for a little vacation. We wanted to see the Field museum. We spent most of our day there, and enjoyed it all!

When we got done at the museum, we started walking. We didn't really know what we were heading to, maybe Navy Pier, or ice cream, or maybe some dinner.

On our journey we came across this beautiful fountain.

It had all sorts of statues in the water.

That's an amateur video, so I apologize for the poor quality!

It was a beautiful fountain. If it hadn't been so warm in the sun, we would have hung around there for a little while. Unfortunately, it was hot and there was no ice cream around!

  1. There is just something about a fountain on a hot day!! If you ever visit Savannah Ga be sure and check out the fountain in Forsyth Park.

  5. Buckingham Fountain is a wonder to behold. I love standing beside it and feeling the spray, only a few yards from the lake. I am jealous of your trip to Chicago. xoxo
