I went for a walk.

Andrew and I have been trying to be more active, (it really helps my blood sugar, not to mention that it is really good for you) so we have been trying to take walks.

So, I got up on time this morning and had breakfast and a cup of coffee and, after cramming a hat on my head, (it was only 33 degrees and no one wants to see my bedhead) I set of for my 8:30 am walk.

Our poor tree is ready for winter. I was enjoying seeing all the colorful leaves and now they are gone.

I am certainly not ready for winter!

Even though it was just above freezing temps outside, I saw these cute little guys along the way.

And finally, I saw this...

Someone really likes Scooby Doo!

  1. I aim for 9000 steps a day Heather but some days it does not happen...then I aim for 6000 which is double what most Americans walk in one day! It does make me feel better as well.

  2. Good girl with the walking! It's the best exercise in the world. Walking is painful for me but I still try to do it as much as possible every day. Arlene is right: wearing a pedometer and counting those steps is a fantastic motivator. The camper is cute. xoxo

  3. A good thing about walking outside is seeing these fun things to post! That camper is fun, and those little flowers are so pretty! Good for you!

  4. Good Morning, I don't walk as much as I should...good for you getting out on a cold a.m. Love the photos you captured on your walk. The colorful leaves did not last long this year due to our rain. It really looks drab outside now. We are "thinking" of rescuing a little dog - maybe that will give me the incentive to get out and walk!
    Hope you enjoy the day.
